Tween/Teen Programs this month!

Teens & Tweens join us again this month as we expand with the Tusten Youth Club. We’ll be gathering right off the school bus for a weekly exploration. We will be at the Tusten-Cochecton Branch on Mondays from 4:30 - 6:00 PM. Monday, March 4th, we’ll be hosting another fun round of Cartoon Club with local artist, Joe Kennedy. March 18th we’ll have board games set up, as well as our ongoing exploration of the fiber arts. First-time crafters are welcome to come and learn how to knit, loom or crochet. Return each week as we practice our craft, troubleshoot and share our successes. March 25th we’ll have our usual games and crafts out with the addition of a launch up to the moon to learn more about the Lunar Eclipse happening. Another opportunity for tweens to spend some time at the library is our DIY Spa Lab. Join us for this fun hands-on program that’s designed to make you glow! During our time together, we’ll learn to make all-natural recipes for you to take home and have your own spa night, because DIY is empowering, not to mention totally fun! We’ll be at the Jeffersonville Branch of the Western Sullivan Public Library on Tuesday, March 26th from 5:00-6:00 PM. This program is intended for teens and tweens ages 10-17, make sure to let us know if you have any allergies when you sign up.
