Children's Programs in June!

WSPL Take & Make - Father’s Day Craft Kit: Sign up for this sweet craft kit designed to honor dads and just in time for summer!

All of our kits are free for children ages 11 & under and available for pick-up at each branch while supplies last. Please register @  www.WSPLonline.org by June 12th so we can have your packet ready for pickup by Wednesday - June 15th.

WSPL Take & Make - Color-In Cookies Pride Cookies: Stop into our Delaware Free Branch on Saturday, June 18th and grab a color-in pride cookie for your child. Cookies are for children under 10, 1 per child while supplies last.

 

In-Person Programming is back!

Storytime: We'll read together, sing songs, learn age-old rhymes, participate in felt board type activities, craft and play with our friends! This program is intended for ages 3-5, but all are welcome. We hope to see you at 10:00 am on Thursday, June 9th in our Delaware Free Branch (downstairs in the children’s room). Jeffersonville Farmers Market: Come visit Miss Kristen for a day full of storytime and crafts! We will be at the Jeffersonville Farmers Market on Sunday, June 26th from 10:00 - 1:00. We’ll rotate between stories and crafts throughout the day, so pop over and see what’s going on!  No registration is required, storytime is designed for younger children with crafts varying for all ages.

 

Children’s Garden Club: Join us for another fun session of Garden Club! In this month’s class we’ll make sure to get all our plants in the soil. We’ll talk more about landscape design and what it takes to get those seeds started and growing well. Please dress prepared to get your hands dirty when we are working in the garden together and bring plenty of water.

This program is for children ages 6-11. Registration is required at www.WSPLonline.org. Please park in front of the Tusten-Cochecton Branch and meet us around back in the Community Garden at 1:30pm on Monday, June 27th.

Summer Reading Program’s Kickoff Party! To celebrate the kickoff of summer, we'll get ready for National Ice Cream Month. Learn the story of ice cream's history, with fun facts. Use teamwork to make ice cream in a coffee can (20 min). After a quick taste, take part in a Sundae Relay Race. Celebrate with a frozen treat!
