Learn the Basics of Ayurvedic Cleansing

We’re entering the most wonderful time of the year. . .and perhaps the most daunting when it comes to doing well by our mind and body! Join Kristen Dasenbrock, Certified Ayurvedic Lifestyle Coach, Friday - November 22nd 10:00am at the Tusten-Cochecton Branch of the Western Sullivan Public Library to learn the basics of Ayurvedic Cleansing.

Ayurveda is one of the world's oldest holistic healing systems. It was developed more than 3,000 years ago in India and based on the belief that health and wellness depend on a delicate balance between the mind, body, and spirit.

Kristen will touch on the foundations of Ayurveda, why it’s important to periodically cleanse the body and share the basics of embarking on a cleanse. She will share her secrets of making ghee and Kitchari, one of the most basic staples in the Ayurvedic diet, and how this meal’s simplicity can have a balancing effect on the body. This is the perfect meal for holiday cleansing.
