Weaving, Flower Arrangements and Sound Baths at the Library this month!

You may remember seeing them before, but we are so excited to have the Woodland Weavers & Spinners Guild back this month! Join us anytime on Tuesday, March 14th between 3:00pm to 6:00pm at the Delaware Free Branch (Callicoon). This is a great opportunity for people of all ages to watch The Guild and learn the ancient art of spinning yarn! The Guild will be set up with their spinning wheels, drop spindles and all the roving one can dream of.  Join us to witness the ladies turn roving into yarn - and all the crafty things we can do from there!

Do you like flowers and want to learn how to arrange your own bouquet? Join us on Wednesday, March 29th at 3:00pm at our Tusten-Cochecton Branch (Narrowsburg) for a fun Spring Flower Arrangement class to welcome Spring! We will be making beautiful arrangements that will brighten up any room. Take this new skill home to continue practicing this calming art form.

Introduction to Sound Bath Meditation- What is it? How does it work? Why is it good for you? On Thursday, March 30th at 5:00pm at our Delaware Free Branch, join Amanda McCormick—local yoga instructor, Shamanic Reiki Master, Women’s Health and Empowerment Coach, and Intuitive Sound Alchemist—for this informative and experiential workshop to learn about what sound baths are (there’s no water involved!), which instruments are used, how a sound bath “works”, the health benefits, and then experience one first hand. This will be a safe container to ask questions and dive deep into your personal experience of the instruments and meditation practice. No experience or previous knowledge necessary! Wear something comfortable, bring an open mind, and be ready to RELAX.

To view all of our programs, visit our calendar at www.wsplonline.org, and register if necessary. Email wsplprograms@rcls.org with any questions.
