WSPL Participates in The Great Give Back 2021

Many libraries across New York State will participate in this year’s Great Give Back this October. It is a way for us to give back to our communities. During October, all branches of the Western Sullivan Public Library are holding a Basic Needs Drive. All donations will be distributed to local pantries.

Think of the essentials you use everyday. Toothbrushes, deodorant, soap, cleaning supplies. Donations of new items like these will help your neighbors in need. Collection starts October 1st at the Delaware Free Branch in Callicoon, Jeffersonville Branch, and Tusten-Cochecton Branch in Narrowsburg. Donations will be accepted through mid-November.

Created in 2017 by Suffolk County Public Library Directors Association and the Suffolk Cooperative Library System, in conjunction with the Nassau Library System, The Great Give Back is an opportunity for the patrons of the public libraries of New York State to participate in meaningful, service-oriented experience (from thegreatgiveback.org/).
